For a smart guy silas is really stupid, why would he willingly destroy his own army and gamble his life to being alien robot warlord slave? He should've just stay with MECH and try to sabotage decepticon and autobot to steal their parts and energon.

Silas is basically a parasitic organism that's controlling a dead body imagine seeing your co-worker being controlled by a parasite , it would be pretty disgusting than seeing a zombie itself out of your co-worker.

Silas was probably the most evil villain in all of transformers media, I can't think of one villain that's as vile and wretched as him, he used decepticons and Autobots as guinea pigs, he created a cheap knockoff Optimus to try and ruin the latter's reputation, and when he was resurrected by his loyal men he wasted no time in gunning them down , his crimes were so horrible that even Megatron was disgusted by him, sure there was Unicron, but Silas had way less resources than him. I'd say his evil is on par with a mechanical planet-sized devil

Odd the Cons assumed Breakdown was MIA instead of KIA. Though he didn't witness it happen, Dreadwing should of had the idea that Airachnid killed Breakdown especially when he told Breakdown not to go after her alone. The fact that Airachnid was still at large and Breakdown didn't return at all, Dreadwing had to have come to the idea that he was killed and reported it to Megatron.

You know if they continued the bayformers films and made transformers 4 and 5 better, you know they can evolve cemetery wind or the TRF as M.E.C.H while NEST becomes a autobot resistance group taking down both of those 3 organizations if they took the ODST route because, NEST was basically ODST’s and the gi joe.

This is so disturbing on many levels. When I watched this as kid, it haunted me. Way more mature for a cartoon.

Hey, guys. Yeah, Silas was super stupid for killing his scientists just like that. But there was a reason. No, it wasn`t because of pride or anything. If you look close at him inside Breakdown`s body, you`ll see his right pupil is dilated. I read somewhere that it`s a sign of severe brain damage. So, yeah, he`s not very right in the head.

I still think we should recognize what a great series this was, especially as everything that was in this usually ended up in the live action films. If there is another Transformers movie, I bet it will be going to the centre of the Earth to kill Unicron, and expect Megatron to have an interest in joining the away team, with a plan to betray the Autobots before the end.

This was pretty dark, even for a kid's programme. Seeing what was left of Cylas in that walking corpse of Breakdown, you knew that Knockout was never going to let that go, and Megatron was far too savvy to permit Cylas an opportunity to cement his position further and possibly attempt to enact a coup at a later date. He knew how to deal with Starscream, but Cylas was a lot more devious, so he was only ever going to be entertained for as long as it took to learn the operating procedure for Damocles, then let Soundwave and Knockout play with him as their new science project.

Silas. This is for interrupting Bulkhead's scuffle with Breakdown, capturing the latter and dissecting the poor Decepticon, you cold-blooded son of a bitch! Let's see how YOU like being dissected yourself, you bastard.

That brief smile knockout has when seeing "breakdown" saddens me. Poor guys 😔

I remember as a kid the scene at the end with Silas screaming sent chills down my spine and at the time I felt bad for him. I was young and naive then and didn’t realize that his fate was completely deserved. I think Silas’s impatience was his ultimate downfall. It’s demonstrated multiple times, for instance when he betrays Starscream because he lost Bumblebee’s T-Cog and then again when he betrays his loyal soldiers to as he puts it “Seek the exclusive company of Titans.” Both times if he would’ve just been patient the outcome would’ve probably been more ideal for him. Although it kind of seems like Silas has a sort of descent into madness because in the beginning he seems to know when to retreat, for example in the Operation Breakdown episode when Silas is informed of Breakdown’s rescue party he immediately although reluctantly admits defeat and retreats but as time goes on he seems to think he can take on the world, demonstrated in the nemesis prime episode where instead of doing the smart thing and taking the L after he realizes Fowler was distracting him, he gets back in his little VR chair and continues to try and fight when the battle has already been lost which ultimately in any conventional circumstance would have cost him his life. But because as Silas’ first lieutenant said mech is anything but conventional, Silas’ fate turned out to be much worse than death.

This episode really made me feel bad for Silas/Cylas, very horrific, yes, he cut in Breakdown, Bumblebee, and Starscream, but I still thought it was horrifying, and I was honestly surprised that Megatron would give up an ally, but like most of these comments say, he was prideful, and disgusted by Cylas

Best part is it’s even funnier since it’s technically out of order. (Megatron called for flyers before “Steve” hit the ground)
